I believe Universal health care is only available to Thai citizens. Private healthcare depends on circumstances - age, previous conditions etc

I went 2 weeks ago and only needed a TM7 for the extension and a TM8 for an entry permit. What are the others for?

You need a work permit arranged by your employer. To become an actual teacher and have a decent salary you need a degree

Most insurances won't cover pre-existing conditions and anything classed as associated with the diabetes. That will cover a lot of conditions

It's impossible to say what a month stay in hospital will cost as it will depend on the reason for hospitalisation, medicines, tests etc

My passport was issued in Peterborough, UK when I had already left the country, so the address they used was a Premier Inn! No-one has ever questioned it
