that sounds fantastic actually… but I might want to save it for when we have a bit more time. 48 hrs might be too rushed. Then again, this might be an excellent reason to skip school for a day or two… 😁

that seems to make the most sense, for sure. You peaked hubby’s interest with your Universal Studio comment! 😂

we do. There’s not enough time left on their extension visas so we need to exit the country unfortunately.

we have already received the 30 day extensions, unfortunately. Only option is to leave and come back with a fresh 45 day stamp.

I’ve heard great things about Hoi An! Will look into the visa situation to get in to Vietnam. We are Canadians so I think we need one.

That would be fun for sure! I think we might need a visa to go to Vietnam though… I’ll check!

if it wasn’t for school, we would probably do as you suggest and just take the week to go and visit an embassy and get it all sorted out then and there.

we don’t need to visit an embassy but can re-enter Thailand with a new 45 day visa exempt stamp for them. Our present issue is that they have less than 2 weeks left at the moment and Immigration wants more than two weeks in order to stamp their education visas. I don’t quite get it but oh well!

Congratulations! My husband and I also received this visa last month, in the pensioner category. We were super happy and impressed with the process. 😁
