Hi all. Trying to sort our medical health insurance for our LTR visa. Can I use a global policy from outside Thailand which meets all the requirements? Finding it hard to find an answer on the official site.

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can use a global health insurance policy from outside Thailand for your Long-Term Residency (LTR) visa, provided it meets the requirements set by the Board of Investment (BOI). Specifically, the policy must be valid in Thailand and offer a minimum in-patient coverage of $50,000 USD per person. Several users have confirmed their policies from international providers were accepted without issues.
