Anonymous participant when I applied, overall, it went very quick. Ultimately rejected though. While the company I worked for had almost 800 million usd in revenue, it was not categorized as for profit or privately owned (a foundation).
Anonymous participant 800 - those being stopped tend to be from certain nationalities though, such as Burmese and Indian. I wonder how that plays into IO decisions
My understanding though is that immigration can’t cancel a visa. They can deny you entry, but the visa was issued by MoFA, so only can be canceled by them.
this is as back in 2017, so not sure if that was an option then. Ended up going to Dubai instead. Just needed an Afghanistan embassy to process my visa, so was able to do it in Dubai.
