TLDR : Answer Summary
The thread discusses the requirements for DTV holders regarding visa fees and income criteria for dependents. It confirms that there is a visa fee for each application, but clarifies that there are no income requirements specifically tied to this visa. There are varying requirements regarding bank account balances associated with the applications, which can differ depending on the embassy. Examples include needing a balance of 500,000 THB per person in certain locations.

Visa fee need to pay for each applicant, regarding income you probably mean 500k balance on account. That’s depends on location so before you apply you can send them email to verify. Manila require to have 500k each, or if husband or wife sponsor then need to have 1mil for 2 people. In Jakarta you can use 500k for the whole family.

yes each applicant need to pay own fee, someone may suggest to bring your son, because he will not get any fines or will not be deported. But if he stay illegal his insurance will be invalid and I think his name will stay in system as overstayer.
