- Ok, someone needs to calm down. There is going to be no issue with the extension. Why are you so worried? When did you get your DTV? When are 180days up?
John *******
@Andreas ********
- when someone applies in Vietnam or Taiwan and shows their bank account from a foreign country, there is no issue.

it varies by embassy. Cambodia is 10 business days. Vietnam is 5

of course, we are about to hit 180 days since the visa started. Only way immigration would require it to be in Thai account is if they changed banking policy, allowing for DTV to have bank accounts.

- No, not at all. The evisa system still requires you to be in the country where you are applying. The change is, if I am applying via the Taiwan consulate, I need to be in Taiwan, but instead of going to the consulate in person, I can do it online. They will ask for proof that I am in Taiwan, and maybe if selected, an in person interview.

each embassy has a different time length. It also depends on your nationality. For example, Vietnam is roughly 5 businesses days while Cambodia is 10 business days (I argue that the requirements via Cambodia are easier and therefore worth the extra time). Embassies in the USA take 3+ weeks
