the visa is non immigrant O or OA - the extension is based on marriage to a Thai national - they stamp Thai Wife in your passport

you can only change reason within 45 days of expiry of current visa ... best to wait for Visa to expire . However . It can be done with under counter payment

 - thanks I will do that ... I had a marriage visa before but changed to retire as it is a bit easier . I have an agent to help me as well ... just want to be sure it can be done

 - I was told by an agent I had to let it lapse and then do it ... another agent told me she had been to immigration with client and they said it is not possible - so a lot of conflicting stories ... is there anything written down to show this is possible ?
