Do I need to inform Thai immigration about my change of address on the day I arrive in Chiang Mai?

, I went there to register new address, as my wife and I moved to CM permanantly. Officer told me to take note of each hotel I stay in, and also take pictures to prove it!!!!...she must have had a bad hair day that day!

I suggest you go to immigration at promenada (2nd floor) within 24hrs of your arrival. Even with a metv, I got fined 1600baht for not reporting my stay at a friends house!
