Hello all, I've just applied for a Thai Elite Visa but due to the waiting period of the immigration check and an impending work trip coming up which will take me out of Thailand for 2 months, I have to do a quick border run as my 30 day entry is about to expire. I would like to go for a road trip and cross the border myself is this possible?(Cambodia Crossing) Then hop back over for some beach time in Trat before my departure out of TH in 2 weeks time. How long do I need to spend over the boarder? Can I come strait back over? Thankyou for any advise:)
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has applied for a Thai Elite Visa and is considering a border run to Cambodia as their 30-day entry is about to expire. They ask if it's possible to cross the border, how long they need to stay abroad, and if they can return immediately. Comments suggest that while a border run is feasible, some Cambodian immigration offices may require a minimum stay of 24 hours. It is also noted that there is no time limit to stay out of Thailand for a new Visa Exempt Entry, but only two border crossings are allowed per calendar year.
