Can I do a quick border run to Cambodia while waiting for my Thai Elite Visa approval?

Hello all, I've just applied for a Thai Elite Visa but due to the waiting period of the immigration check and an impending work trip coming up which will take me out of Thailand for 2 months, I have to do a quick border run as my 30 day entry is about to expire. I would like to go for a road trip and cross the border myself is this possible?(Cambodia Crossing) Then hop back over for some beach time in Trat before my departure out of TH in 2 weeks time. How long do I need to spend over the boarder? Can I come strait back over? Thankyou for any advise:)

that isn't gonna help get them out and back in if they can't bounce at that border OR if they already have two visa exempt entries by land in a calendar year

Hat lek crossing is quite easy, and close to koh chang. Cost was around 2000 baht

For a new 30 day Visa Exempt Entry you can make a border run to Cambodia, there is for Thailand no time limit to stay abroad, but some Cambodian Immigration can ask for some money as their rule is you have to stay minimum 24 hours. Be aware you can only make two border crossings a calendar year using the Visa Exempt Entry. A good border crossing point is:

Ban Laem Cambodia.

AVOID the Poi Pet - Aranyaprathet border with Cambodia..
