i apologize as i dont see or remember where you plan on applying.

In most offices you will need 21 days (15 working days) minimum left on your stamp to apply.

Again check with the local office.

My advice get the stamp and get applied, if you have the money already in an account in Thailand.

This will give you time if something needs to be fixed.

There is no need for seasoning on initial non-o application in almost all offices.

*There is only 1 office (I know of) Jomtien that requires 2 mths prior to initial application *

You need 2 mths seasoning before 1yr extension and 3 mths after approval.

Transferring between passports is simple, one form, letter if provided from embassy and copies.

Currently it has been estimated that only about 10 per cent of applicants have been approved.

Still a huge backlog and rumors of changes to the income requirements, that may be beneficial to applicants.
