I’ve thought about this too. I’m worried that even if you get a 5 year DTV (soft power), what’s to stop them revoking it once your course ends? They might claim you don’t qualify unless you do yet another course.

I don’t have a bank account. I’d love one but haven’t tried yet. I did 6 months on exempt and I’m now on ED. Planning on doing the DTV after this. If it’s still around.

To buy stuff online I just copy and paste once and it’s done. Not very difficult.

I tried in google translate once but I know it was wrong because the subdistrict came out different. It’s mainly the soi and street. I’ve only lived at this address just over a month and before that I was on a tourist island so everything was easy. It’s not that big of a deal because I’ll just get the people in the office to do it for me.

I understand that. I mean like my street and soi address are only in Thai. I can try and copy it myself but I would make a mess of it

I’ve never understood how they expect you to fill out your address in handwriting when it’s all in Thai 🤷🏻‍♂️ luckily I showed a kind lady at one of the desks the address on my phone and she filled it out for me.
