DTV visa does not require any of this, are you talking about some other type visa??

If so, is there a min or max duration tobe out if Thailand, so the DTV is still active and not impacted in any way

What makes you think, by over staying, you just pay the fine and no biggie??

It's huge, it's like a big dent on one's credit report, it shows, not trustworthy, which upon return next time, the second they swipe his passport, they see he's being flagged for violating the overstay rule, which is illegal ....
