Just send them all to me. Make sure you pay the postage so I don't get stuck with it. I'll count and sort them all, then put a check in the mail for you.

Adam Michael Wright I found buying a car simple and straightforward. I think the key is getting a good, honest salesperson. I had a great one.

Thailand has definitely gotten much more expensive over the last few years. The ridiculous baht doesn't help. While salaries for foreign teachers here remain the same as 15 to 20 years ago. Fortunately I have my pension income to make things easier.

I live in Trang and nobody wants to rent to foreigners here. They can't be bothered because we're too much 'trouble'. As in asking for them to register their personal details with immigration. Very, very few will rent to us. But overall, there aren't many rentals. Places sit empty waiting to be sold for 3 to 5 years, yet they won't rent.

Cris Murl Which begets the question, 'why can't this be enforced'? Can't be very hard to track down which homeowners do/don't pay taxes. Slap a lien on the property until the taxes are paid.

Cris Murl Where I live virtually none of the Thai home owners pay any taxes at all. It would be eye opening to find even one that does.

My landlady flat out refuses to do anything regarding immigration. It's Thai law but she just flatly refuses and there's no repercussions for her. Rentals are extremely hard to find here, so I deal with it.
