There's a checkbox option when you go to create the statement. Make sure you use the online website version, not the app
Adam *******
Yes I'm aware of that. My question was would it be worth traveling down to Ho Chi Minh so that they will process my application instead of Hanoi. As I'm sure you know there are big differences between embassies and how nice they are

Right, but you choose between the Hanoi embassy and the Ho Chi Minh one when you start the application online. And it's based upon your current location in Vietnam (current address). Which in my case will just be where my hotel is located. As far as I know the e-visa applications are still dealt with by individual embassies. There's not just 1 single embassy dealing with them. Congrats on your approval

I truly don't understand why you would go to all this hassle and stress when you can just pay an agent 2,000 Baht to handle everything and literally all you do is sign a few pieces of paper

@Sarah ******
Would you mind saying what clarification they asked for on the bank statement? Thank you

And how is that done exactly? How do you ask someone to show you their phone and banking app when they're not applying in person at the embassy and everything is done online

Yes but at least you can apply and then re-enter Thailand on exemption and wait for your application to go through

I'm curious how that's going to be implemented when they switch to e-visa applications

Why would you need business documents and proof of income? Isn't that what the soft power is for? You're just going to confuse them
