Hello,

I've been preparing the necessary documents because I'll be flying to Vietnam next week to apply for the DTV under the Workcation category.

Please may someone kindly look over the list below and let me know if I'm missing anything? It would be most appreciated, as getting approved for this visa is very important to me.

Workation related documents:

- Introduction cover letter explaining what I do online (with company letterhead).

- Company registration papers showing myself as a director.

- 2 separate contracts with clients of said company detailing various services provided.

- 2 recent invoices for clients.

- A PDF of screenshots of my company's website that will show in detail the range of online services that I provide in the digital marketing space.

Other supporting documents:

- 6 month bank statement from Wise showing over 500,000 THB equivalent in balance (with official Wise verification stamp and signature included on the statement).

- 1 year lease contract for Thai apartment in Chiang Mai (the contract is from October 2024 and lasts until next October 2025).

- Hotel booking for stay whilst in Vietnam (for proof of Vietnamese address).

- Ticket for flight out of Vietnam.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing to apply for a DTV Workcation visa in Vietnam and seeks feedback on their list of required documents for the application. They have prepared various work-related documents, a bank statement, and a lease contract. Suggestions from the community include providing a profit & loss statement, ensuring to clarify international client relationships in the cover letter, and potentially needing passport-sized photos. The overall advice suggests that the user is on track with their documentation but should consider additional materials to strengthen their application.

In your cover letter state that your clients are abroad and you don't/won't take any Thai based clients. You might need to supply a couple passport sized photos, data page of your passport and once in Vietnam a photo of the Vietnam visa you used to enter.

I just got my DTV as a remote worker (search this group for my list) and I included a simple profit & loss statement from Jan 1-current, copies of business bank statements and a remote worker policy. Template is below:

{company letterhead and address}

Remote Work Policy

As a {business activities} company, {company name}, allows owners, employees and subcontractors to physically reside and work anywhere in the world under the following stipulations:

Requirements:

Employees working remotely must:

◦ Have a dedicated workspace with minimal distractions and adequate equipment.

◦ Have consistent, quality internet access to be able to perform remote operations, maintenance, manage subcontractors, video calls and other tasks as required for the position.

◦ Ensure secure access to company systems and data.

◦ Maintain regular working hours and be available during core business hours.

◦ Participate in virtual meetings and communicate regularly with team members and subcontractors.

◦ Adhere to company policies and procedures, including confidentiality, data security, and intellectual property protection.

Security and Data Protection:

Employees working remotely must comply with company security and data protection policies, including:

a manager or a position that reasonable to work remotely in Thailand.

The rest is good .
