This is the game Bangkok Bank is playing 😂.

The staff told me I could choose to close my account!

I chose not to close it, but I also won't comply with their outrageous demands—my own residency certificate from the Thai Immigration Bureau, and Thai banks don't recognize it?

Is Bangkok Bank no longer a Thai company? 🤭

They want you to bring a residence certificate from the Thai Immigration Bureau, your rental agreement, proof of payment—anything that can prove you're residing in Thailand—and then have your country's embassy stamp the copies of the documents!

Only after this will the Bangkok Bank branch staff be willing to pass them on to their supervisor to unfreeze your account—but this doesn't guarantee the account will be unfrozen!

I have other bank accounts; I don't need to play their game.

Bangkok Bank doesn't trust residency certificates issued by the Thai Immigration Bureau 🤣

They always require us to obtain certificates from our own country's embassy proving we are genuinely residing in Thailand!

I was asked to do the same...

There is no such price!

Neither DTV nor ED visas require such fees!

Only passport and ID card required.

If the mobile phone number is registered in your own name, you don’t have to go to the bank to do anything!

If not, you need to apply for a mobile phone number in your own name and go to the bank to change your mobile phone number.

Banks now require updating phone information, and the phone number must be registered in your own name! If not, use of mobile banking will be restricted after

The Thai Immigration Bureau said it is within 3 days, including the arrival day.

Why did it become within 72 hours?

The calculation results within 3 days and 72 hours will actually be different!
