lol, classic “I am right, everyone is wrong. Because I say so”
Dude even Myint Swe has stated publicly the army is struggling to stay in control of large parts the country. Heaviest fighting is in the northern Shan state, but things are quite unstable right now.
Ehhhm, id avoid Myanmar right now. Are up to date on latest news? The civil war is literally at its likely peak right now. Junta seem to be loosing control
I wrote down a list but cant find now. But this reddit post has great information.
I stayed at Sitara place by Rama 9 for 5 months. Great and affordable Serviced Apartments. So many areas and places.
Best night markets for me was Talat Phlu (old and authentic). And although a bit farcfrom center, Rod Fai Srinakarin is absolutely amazing. Owl nightmarket also nice. I cant stand Jodd Fairs, but there is a new one now I think
Although touristy, Yaowarat (Chinatown) is a must.
In daytime Wang Lang market is nice. Ruam Sab is great for lunch. Khlong Lat Mayom Floating Market was the only of the floating markets i liked.
“Original Pad Kra Pao 1993” restaurant has amazing kra pao. Polo fried chicken for amazingly fried chicken and somtum
Head to Baiyoke Tower II for amazing view. Explore talat noi in Chinatown (daytime)
Out of these, Bangkok! (Excluding lower Sukhumvit and Khaosan Road obviously). Due to the endless Photography, exploration and food options. As well as easy to avoid raunchy tourists. (Bangkok is huge)
But my favorite area is Kanchanaburi, due to the Waterfalls, historical spots and the City itself is nice and small.
And favorite Island Koh Kood, amazing beaches and very few tourists. And not a single 7 on the entire Island.
And Ubon for best food. (Only Isaan city ive visited)
How long you plan to stay? A multiple entry tourist visa gets you 9 months with two border bounces. Personally I wouldn’t risk ED in the current “climate”
i dont give a single sh.t personally. But it’s literally stated during the application process, and you literally sign/declared that you are physically located in the country you are applying from. Its also well known, and quite universal for for most countries/embassies for most
countries.
Applying online is no different than applying in person. Otherwise we would all be doing Evisa from thailand and just border bounce to activate it. But we don’t as the consequences of getting caught is quite severe.
So yes you even declared/signed that you were physically in your home country while applying. That is fraud.
Likely you wont get caught, but if immigration notice in the dates in your passport stamps that you were actually in Thailand when applying trough US embassy; you would be facing deportation and blacklisting.
Its your own responsibility so obviously they wouldn’t bother to verify your IP location as VPN are common anyway.
