If the money was remitted in a year you are not tax resident, no remittance tax. And as of now you don’t have to submit tax return for that money

well thats why I did. But has to be in a language the embassy accepts obviously

I think you may be overthinking this. I just showed a bank statement in my local currency. The embassy is capable of looking up the THB worth….

there isn’t, but been mentioned in interviews etc. And as that is common practice with other visas, its highly likely to be the same with DTV, although not yet confirmed or denied.

We will know soon though, as we are very close to DTV being 6 months since launch

Because they set the rules. You don’t have to extend , you can “bypass” that by border bounce. But may still get control checks at entry

You can, but seems utterly pointless for 90 days. You can spend 90 days without any visa,

As already mentioned, Bitkub (with KYC) and a Thai Bank account indeed.

There are more dubious cash ways possible, but I wouldn’t….

Don’t need NDID or Thai ID for Bitkub, but bank account would be needed

Anonymous participant interesting. They didn’t require flights or accommodation when i applied in October.

Things change fast

its 180 total days spent. Doesn’t matter if you leave and come back. If you spend more than 180 days in thailand within the same calendar year (jan-dec) you are considered tax resident regardless of type of visa.
