FYI The minimum amount of hours per week for the one year ED is 10 hours per week

Make sure you get a re-entry permit at immigration or the airport before you leave the country or your ED visa will become void.

Maybe redundant at this point. To answer your questions.

1. It is 1900 for each extension.

2. You will extend it 3 times. Each extension is 90 days and Each time will cost 1900 baht.

Typically most schools advise you go back one week before the date in your passport as a precaution, in case of unforeseen circumstances.

If you come on a 30 day visa exemption you can extend at immigration for 30 more days once. Then extend again but you will be denied and given 7 days for 1900 baht. You should have checked before leaving the country. Now you have used one of your land crossings inadvertently for this year.

Vientiane is arguably one of the top places to get your visas processed and they usually don’t give headaches to anyone.

Things do change though. Ask on this forum first before doing anything.

So just to follow up. In CM They are only doing TM30 updates, not new TM30 forms. So don’t go if you don’t have a TM30 yet
