They came to our place last week , they called first and we were in hua hin so we arranged a date and time . Two officers came they took pictures of us together .

1 family picture with the marriage certificate.

We didn’t need witnesses but my mother in law was with us anyway.

I would guess yes your wife needs to be around

tourist extension I went to the immigration office on the 14th July got 30 days then I went again on 30th July and got 60 days starting from 13th August and ending 12 October

And just to clarify , I went early to avoid the stampede just before the amnesty ends

I have a 30 day extension which I paid for ( stamp in my passport says 30 days )

I did... twice..... 30 days and 60 days so my visa now expires on the 12th October, I recall your comments quote “ paying for nothing when the government has extended for free” Now it appears my 1900 baht wasn’t such a bad investment after all as I didn’t need letters from the embassy or have to prove that I can’t fly back. 😉
