If they are asking for a ticket to Thailand , it may just be another way to check if you are in the uk or not.

I did it myself for a cost of 10,000 baht paid direct to immigration on the day of the visa issuance

Yeah it’s standard ,

They come and check that you actually live where you say you do.

Nothing to worry about

The most stressful part is the first trip to CW wondering if you have everything

Depends where you are from ? , if like me from England (where curries are our national dish ) 😆 it’s hard to find the same oily unnaturally colored curries.

I like Dum Handi which is on Sukhumvit 23 ( I think) , try that one

It’s a requirement, but they do not always check , in the 20 years I have been coming here I have only been asked a handful of times, when I have been asked it’s been by the airline at check in (Thai airways LHR) and on the odd occasion by immigration on arrival at Bangkok.

My opinion (only an opinion) is that immigration in Thailand only ask people who’s appearance they don’t like or people who have multiple entry stamps to Thailand over a short period of time.

I would suggest you get an onward flight rather than take the risk ,

No they don’t, submitting your foreign drivers license means that you don’t need to do the driving / written tests
