I emailed Landmark Hotel direct and they responded. You cannot book via their website, which is not explained. However the ASQ rate is considerably cheaper than the standard B&B rate, and includes three meals a day plus all the medical checks.

I had exactly the same experience taking out the lease. However a couple of months later I asked for a letter confirming I was living at the condo, for immigration purposes, and they put my name on the lease. I think the worry is you could disappear as you are a foreigner, but in my instance once they saw we were living there and paying rent they were happy to change it to my name.

sorry, yes I also agree with the money requirement. What I found annoying was the discrimination of passport type. If you have the means and the commitment to quarantine then in my opinion that should be enough regardless of your nationality

got to say, it’s their country their rules. My only complaint is that if someone is prepared to quarantine on arrival for two weeks at their own expense, surely that is proof enough they are committed to visiting with good reason regardless of what passport they hold.

in the UK we can do a test by post, 72 hours before flying then you get the results online. Presumably you can do the same in Australia?
