They will not let you out at land border if you do not have one, in my experience.

Do not lose this. I did once and it caused me tons of trouble (had to go to immigration to get a special replacement one.) It doesn’t matter what type of visa you come in on, you still need to show that you came into country and you have a departure card to get out. Fill in your information on it so you have it ready to hand over when you leave or get an extension.

I went on the worst day possible, I guess. This Tuesday when the office had been closed for holiday Friday-Monday and everyone was coming back from holiday to check in and landlords were there with new contracts for the 1st of the month. I have never seen it that crazy.

good to know! I waited in line there for an hour (2nd floor) and was told I had to go to airport. Maybe just the officer there that day.

Done and done. Took 2 minutes. No line. I should update a previous post where I made an inquiry and was told it is not possible to get a printed Receipt of Notification when a TM30 is filed online.

It was done online so I was told it can’t be done at Promenada.

He gave me a code from the receipt online and says to show it to immigration to print receipt of notification.
