yes I do have this insurance that was mandatory to renew the extension of stay. However it doesn't clearly states "covid coverage" and I was under the impression that in order to receive the requested "Thai pass" for entering the country , a specific additional covid insurance was requested. 30 days and 50.000$ coverage.
Now I'm receiving information that because of my visa it should cover me until the validity of my extension when I enter Thailand ie 3 months to March 22nd.
Can you confirm that my existing insurance non OA plan will be accepted or should I get additional covid coverage ?
this was understood....but the re-entry option as mentioned by Robert was a new option that I was'nt aware of.... so I will be able to re-enter eventhough my visa is not valid anymore thanks to the re-entry permit paid for on departure in May...
Great...I got it .....and this will obviously allow me to get the extension on my non OA in September by providing among others proof of funds ....right ?
Let's say I enter Thailand on Feb 1st 2019....my tm6 stamp will say admitted until January 31st 2020...ok?
Then are you telling me that I should buy a re entry permit on my departure on May 25th 2019 in order to be admitted back in September 2019 while my visa won't be valid anymore at that time? (visa non OA valid until July 1st 2019)....is that what you are saying?
thank you for your help... I knew indeed that you cannot use the visa to re enter outside it's validity date.... But this will lead to another question that I will post in just a few moments... βΊοΈβΊοΈβΊοΈ
