you’re wrong but you just keep banging people over the head with it all down the thread. Embarrassing 🙈

because people don’t think to use the search bar in a Facebook group, but it is actually such a great tool! And yes, so many people think embassies give a damn about them and that their country’s consulate will do so much for them when they are in a foreign land. Nooooope! 😒

nope. Doubled down trying to humiliate someone else further down in the comments with the same reasoning 🙈

over and over trying to shame people 😂

It is so much cleaner to just say ‘whoops’ and have a chuckle. 🤷🏻‍♀️

no one is policing anyone? You made a simple mistake in comprehension probably because you skimmed it too quickly. No shame, no problem, no reason to be defensive – it happens to all of us on occasion.

you are preaching to the choir. I’m parked in Delhi at the moment because my whole life here costs appx 400 a month- I am in transition 🤦🏼‍♀️

hm. Almost ended up there a few months ago- I’ll keep it in mind. Thanks for your kindness!

ok well that I could provide 😊 it’s interesting- I appreciate the info. I will search the group further about the DN visa. I have read another places that it’s actually sort of strict so obviously I need to do some more reading.

Are you going to work for yourself, not a platform? Where will your payments go?

Mine go to my home country and I travel as a tourist and I do my own thing- using a good VPN, and not through a platform. Yours is a bit more complicated as you may face more scrutiny because you’re a foreign resident, but possibly covered somewhat due to marriage? 🤔

It’s a curious position.

I work in international schools sometimes and this shows income (legally, obviously) either in country or from a recent country, so I’ve never had a problem showing that I can support myself. Or have savings.

Having been there so long- do you maintain any banking in your home country?

I lived in Vietnam and I know that banking is extremely monitored in some countries… conundrum.
