Thank you. I am registered with the TM30. I have the lease as well. I can get the owners ID.
Another question? Immigration is saying we must take a photo outside the condo so you can see the building number and the whole condo. Our condo doesn’t have the building number on the facade. Should I request the owner please put one up?
okay.. thank you! This is what we were thinking. At the Ampur they asked me if I wanted to change my name now here in Thailand, but I said I’d wait because like you said I figured I would also then have to update my passport and that would interfere with my visa process I’m sure.
I really think it would be unnecessary to get a visa before you went to Thailand. I would suggest booking an onward flight or a bus out of Thailand with the departure date around/before the 30 day mark of your trip. (You can literally spend 5$ on a ticket or a buy a cheap cheap one online.. THIS IS JUST TO SHOW AT THE AIRPORT THAT YOU WILL LEAVE THAILAND BY THE TIME THE 30DAYS IS UP). At the airport they will ask to see proof that you are leaving Thailand within 30 days... so great, yeah sure you are. THEN when you get to Thailand you should get 30day Visa Exempt on arrival..THEN go to the nearest immigration and get the 1900baht extension (they add another 30 days) as soon as you can. This will have you covered for the extra three days (I would really just shave the 3 days off your Thailand trip to save the 1900baht, but that's just me.) Then fly to Vietnam, come back to Bangkok for your flight... should be no problem to get another 30 day Visa Exempt should you need to go back into the Kingdom. (Have 20,000 baht cash, and ave your departure flight booked back to UK).
