Will traveling to Cambodia on a 60-day visa affect my visa status and registration in Thailand?

Just came in on a new 60d visa, have settled into an apartment in BKK and landlord has registered me. Partner has some unexpected time off and we want to travel to Cambodia for 7d then return. Question: 1. Does this cancel my 60d visa and return me to a 30d visa? 2. Does the landlord have to re-register me, lest Big Joke's boys kick down my door? TIA!

TLDR : Answer Summary
Traveling to Cambodia with a 60-day visa generally requires a re-entry permit to keep your visa from voiding and reverting to a 30-day status. Additionally, while the landlord is not strictly required to re-register you upon your return, it is advisable for them to update the TM30 report if you've been away for more than 24 hours.

Thanks everyone!

Re Q2, at present there is no need to report to immigration every time you arrive in the country if you live in BKK.

get a rentry permit if you want to keep your 60D visa.

You dont need to make a new TM30, you can update the one you have yourself.

But usually immigration in BKK doesn't care if tourists have one or not as its expected that you will be travelling around Thailand and some guesthouses/hotels do not bother filing a TM30 for you.

Get a re entry permit at the airport 1000bht to keep your Visa active (it is still counting down). If you leave your place of residence for more than 24hrs, upon return a new TM30 should be reported by your landlord within 24hrs.
