Thank you all for your help. Anyone know where I can find a letter from the Australian embassy stating they're refusing to issue letter stating I can't return? Couldn't find anything on the website and I don't know if they'll get back to me in time

thank you very much for your help, unfortunately my former employer decided to fuck me over by not issuing the cancellation letter until 3 days after my employment was terminated so I was already on overstay by the time I got the letter.

thanks mate, useful info but bad news. Gonna have to go to Bangkok from Tao right in the middle of the worst part of the pandemic. Can I ask if this would be the one stop place in chamchuree (sp?) Square? And you get 7 days extension of stay as soon as the non b is cancelled right?
