Just a heads up.

It's looking increasingly likely the Thai Immigration are going to extend the visa exemption to 90 days.

Don't know when or for how long it will last.

 yes, everything OK. Go back to immigration in December to apply the "Marriage visa"

 yes, I did the same. 60 day Tourist visa, extended 30 days, now extended 60 days after I married.

The 60 days begins when you enter Thailand. The day you enter is counted as your first day,even if it's 1 minute to midnight.
