feel sorry for u of being scammed....well first of all arrival card doesn't ask for credit cards details many countries already start using arrival cards like singapore, Malaysia Philippines... .as always there are stations set up with officers to assist foreigners who doesn't have a mobile phone or email address
I didn't know filling up a arrival card will bring so much confusion and anxiety? Just do it before boarding the plane most of the time u will be waiting at the gate with noting to do......even if u forget to do it u can still do it at the arrival hall before immigration counters
Go to DLT near you and apply for one...the process will depends on what you already have.....let's say u already have a international license in your home country den it's pretty straight forward basically u just need your passport, residency cert, international licence, and a health cert from local clinic(150-200baht) and even if you do not have a international licence u still can apply but u will need to take theory lessons and test
It's pretty straight forward IF you are legit of course the gov of the country needs to filter applications accordingly they want to make sure u have enough means to live here and not becoming a burden to them for example working illegally or overstaying without a valid visa why does the immigration needs to see your 800k (retirement)in bank before they approve your extensions
You will have to find out what are the requirements of getting a residency for a foreigner in your home country....I think the best bet is to get married and now you have to decide where to register your marriage is it better to do it in the UK or Thailand...
the nonO is a standard visa of 90days stay in thailand which after u can apply extension to one year from that visa...check with the thai embassy of your country what are the requirements of applying for 90days nonO visa and after u enter thailand can visit immigration office to get information of requirements of extending that visa
