 no, I had just missed the news that it was both by air and land.

So that means you can get 150 days now with one border run and one extension each time. Excellent! Thanks

 just to clarify, I thought the 45 day visa exempt was only by air but it seems you’re suggesting it’s also the case if doing a border run by land?

 no longer the case. Just made my application with a ‘normal’ ie smaller photo, no blue background.

Apparently they stopped worrying about this some time ago.
