I'm quite sure there was one or two other options. I can't recall the exact wording but there was one we checked off more generic in relation to Covid.

What company? We purchased ours online through AXA and received documents right away. It wasn't very expensive.

The only requirement was $50,000 USD in Covid coverage which is now $20,000 USD. If your existing policy met this requirement there was no need to purchase another policy. It is just a requirement for your policy to state this amount of Covid coverage specifically or receive a letter from your insurance stating so, then upload when applying for Thailand Pass. I stated it as "travel insurance" as this is what you called it...read the last sentence of your original post. I don't understand "Official Thai Department" you can buy this insurance from an insurance company in Thailand or elsewhere.

Insurance will cover medical needs with set symptoms such as high fever for a set time period. It is the asymptomatic quarantine costs that are not common for insurance coverage.

that I believe they have to set an appointment in Ankara but they can verify on e-visa site. I think it depends on where you are a resident and citizen.

I believe you would have to set appointment with Thailand Embassy in Ankara, Turkey to apply for visa should you choose to go to Turkey but perhaps this website can help you
