Depends on the hotel. Seen many examples where Agoda was significantly cheaper for the same room vs booking direct with the hotel.

But then you’ll see other odd differences like the room is much cheaper on Agoda but if breakfast isn’t included Agoda will charge like 400-500 baht extra per person/day while if you just pay at the hotel it’s like 200 baht.

Just have to check various sites and the hotel directly.

I’ve had hotels refuse to give me the cheaper Agoda rate while I was talking to them in their lobby.

They just said book with Agoda then.

Seems stupid to want to have to pay Agoda a booking fee when someone is willing to let you bypass that and both parties win but it’s happened a lot.

As for credit cards, a lot of hotels on Agoda let you book without a credit card and just pay at check-in.

Cancellation policy is usually determined by the hotel.

Best quality I’ve found is the brand from New Zealand that Paleo Robbie sells.

It’s not cheap but it’s the cleanest I’ve found here.

No artificial sweeteners/flavors and it’s from grass fed cows.

That being said, you’re better off with egg protein.

Egg protein is around 50% available for tissue generation vs meat/dairy which is around 25% vs plant sources which range from around 15-25%

Amazon ships a lot of things to Thailand.

They handle the customs and import duty and VAT payments for you.

Won’t be cheap but they will ship a lot of things to many countries they don’t directly operate in.

There’s like half a dozen companies that do the same thing. Just search online for airline ticket rental or something similar

of pre-Covid tourist numbers this year.

Thailand is expected to be looking at a minimum 5 years before its overall economy gets back to pre Covid levels

Yeah if you like the atmosphere of a huge crowd it’ll have that for sure.

Although this year will probably be a lot less hectic. Fewer people and more clubs than ever to house people.

Once things get back to pre Covid levels you’ll have to be sure to book a VIP sofa somewhere if you don’t want to feel like you’re in a crowded sky train car all night lol

NYE in Pattaya is basically the same as every other day in Pattaya except there’s 10 times more people everywhere and gridlock traffic.

It’s done all the time in Thailand. By immigration officers, visa agents, employers, non-profits. Nothing that can’t be undone with a staple remover.
