Well you mean the bikes might have low or high gears. Pretty sure that never happens. Ditto remapping fueling.

well, it was intended to be a joke for someone apparently forgetting 7 days of their life. Easily found out, though that would need consensual blood testing. You see a lot of people trying it on with DTv applications with fake bank statements, quack medical appointments etc, and they are granted, so is that a blind eye being granted, or being gullible?

Nope, that would be a work visa with work permit. The DTV is a tourist visa. Do what you like as long as it's not business with the Thais. But already, it seems much abused, which will probably ruin it for genuine applicants, due to the chances, going to Thailand to learn how to cook rice.

Passport details aren't shared as much as you think. The US want to know more about people coming to the US than the other way around. Any country wishing to participate in the US Waiver Scheme has to collect data to US standards. UK passports do not meet EU standards because fingerprints aren't shared. When your passport is scanned, it's checking that the basic data matches what's printed on the passport. This is why dodgy people end up in Thailand on stolen passports. The data isn't even flagging a stolen passport. The US State Department will maintain records on its citizens linked to God knows what databases, but there is no way an IO at BKK will be able to access US government databases.

I've seen some of these deportees being returned. They're taken under police escort to the gate, not exactly in chains. After everyone else is aboard, then this mob are brought aboard for the 60 row walk of shame, and end up in the middle seats. They seemed unwashed. Two of them were wearing swimming trunks and an old t shirts. An old man, maybe in his 80s, was in a safari suit 2 sizes too big. All clutched a carrier bag with a packet of sandwiches, a kiddies carton of juice and a packet of crisps, presumably the Thai immigration service carrying out their welfare obligations. For the rest of the flight to London, fellow passengers stared daggers at these tramp like individuals. I assume at the other end, uk police would have liked a word with them.

she's not being upfront. She seems to be running a tourism business on a tourist visa in Thailand. Look at her page where she has a link to her company web page. She is already taking deposits for trips to Phuket in 2025.
