Successfully got a certificate of residence for driving license. Immig Div 1, Bangkok.
Saw a number of posts about this and sharing the list of requirements. In my case previous 90-day report was not available since I leave every month. So needed to also photocopy evidences from the passport that I never spent more than 90 days in Thailand - so departure and arrival stamps throughout the period.
The TM30 also needs to ideally match your LATEST arrival date. Since I did not know this I had to request from the landlady on the spot and it can only be dated within 24 hours. This was accepted.
Just at immigration (Division 1 Bangkok for extension)
Not sure if been shared or not but they just refused me entry to building without proof of my vaccine certificate. After about 3 minutes of saying that, she then said I can enter but I have to fill out a form.
I also logged in the mochana app and when I went to counter to get a number the guy told me to login. I showed him i had already but apparently it wasn't the same....(it was)🤣
I love this country but why is the immigration such a nightmare.
I have a NON-IMM (Retirement )Visa (Multiple Entry) that was issued in November 2017. At the time, as this was my first application, I used the services of an agent here in Bangkok. For some reason, and I was not informed at the time, the agent applied for and had the visa issued at Chonburi Immigration. I now have 2 questions, both related:
1. As I’ve been flying in and out of Thailand on a regular basis I have not faced the need, until now, to do my 90 day reporting. Will I be allowed to do my 90 day reporting at Immigration Division 1 Office, The Government Complex, Chaengwattana Rd or will I be required to report at Chonburi Immigration? (Please note I am the owner of a Condo and I live on Sukhumvit Soi 24). Today I tried to use the online 90 day reporting but unfortunately, without providing any reason, my application was rejected.
2. I am looking to Extend my visa for another year at the end of September, this time on my own, 45 days before the current visa expires. Again, will I be allowed to extend the Visa at the Immigration Division 1 office or will I be forced to travel to Chonburi?
Any help and guidance that can be provided by the group on the above would be very much appreciated.
