How to apply for 2 visas? For the 1st month I plan to volunteer at a conservation project and thereafter extend my stay an extra 30-45 days to visit?

Tod Daniels. Have a Scottish friend with a wife and baby daughter from Burundi .. obviously he is visa exempt on arrival but we cannot find Burundi on the website ? They live in China and want to visit for few days . Can you advise please ? Thanks
