TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry concerns visa options for a newborn in Thailand, with the user already managing visas for themselves and their other children. It's noted that all foreigners must have valid visas, but newborns are not subject to overstaying penalties until they reach 15 years of age. The comments emphasize the importance of registering the birth with the relevant embassy and mention that being born in Thailand may grant the child Thai nationality, along with differing regulations based on the parents' country of origin.

It it is born in Thailand it will be Thai. No problems with non - imm o's for 20 years. You do not say where you are from.I think different Countries ahe different rules for registration of children? In any case make sure bothe parents are on the Birth Certificate.

Make sure when the baby is born you register the birth of him/her with your Embassy.

Simply the letter of the law is that all aliens are required to have a valid stamp/visa to remain in Thailand.

However children are not fined or banned for being overstay until starting at the age of 15 and later.

So your baby will be okay till you figure it all out, birth certificate, passport from home country etc.

Then at some time, school age maybe, you may want an ED VIsa but that is years away.

There is no repercussions on you, when you leave the child will have an overstay stamp, no fines or ban and can reenter Thailand no problem.
