There is a market in Bangkok that just does car and motorcycle parts, very cheap, the name escapes me but have a look at CB media on YouTube, he's just done a video on it

 ok. To me sounds ok for a major service on the brake calliper. Ask other garages around as I'm sure the other one will fail soon. Then I don't know the history of your car.
