Hi guys, I'm almost finished the online application to Jakarta from Bali. Please I have a question if anyone can advise:

My bank statement address is from UK as I lived in London for many years but my passport is Irish and my home address is listed as my Irish home address.

Will this create a problem?

I could easily change my home address to match the UK bank statement address but will they then question why my home address is UK but passport is Irish?

Would matching addresses be better or is having an Irish home address better?

Ugh I'm so confused thank you in advance for any advice which is better🙏🙏🙏

Thank you🤗

What embassy to apply from London or Paris?

Hello, I am an Irish passport holder (no other passport) but I am a resident in France with a French residency card, so naturally I should be applying in Paris but my bank account is a GBP UK bank. Normally I would apply from Paris as anyone knows how to convert currency but would rather double check before spending 350€. Physically I am located in France but I travel to Ireland all the time so at the time of application I can be in either Ireland or France. My documents are all in English and both countries only require most recent single bank statement. With London requiring 2k less in the account.

Thank you in advance

Edit: Paris embassy have said the following “You need to show a bank certificate with 15,000 in euros.” So Paris does not accept the equivalent in a foreign currency incase anyone wants to apply in the future.

Hi there. I will be arriving at Suvarnabumhi next week with a brand new Irish passport. It has a new number. Is there any problem with this? How do they pull up my travel history? Should I bring my old passport just in case? Is my name n fingerprints enough?

Hi,

is the 60 day visa exemption available for land crossing, or only at International airport?

If I do come by land crossing, do I get stamped in at the border? How long would that be for?

(Irish passport)

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I arrived in Thailand in early June (visa exempted, Irish passport). I want to extend another 30 days, but unsure where I should go for my extension in Bangkok. Do they have photo copying services there?

Hi,

I have 2 passports. I'm planning to marry my fiancee and get a marriage visa. Is it possible to get a stamp of the marriage visa in each of my passports?

I have an Irish passport which I used to travel to Thailand. But I have gotten the marriage documents through the Norwegian embassy which is my other passport. If I can only get the marriage visa for my norwegian passport is it possible to use the entry stamp in my Irish passport for approval?

I know its a bit confusing but hope it makes sense!

Thanks
