TLDR : Answer Summary
Community members shared their experiences regarding the processing time for Thai visa applications at the consulate in Dublin. Responses varied, with some individuals receiving their stamped passports back within 3-7 working days, depending on the method of submission (e.g., registered post or in-person visit). One commenter pointed out that the Dublin location is a consulate rather than an embassy and noted the friendly staff. Overall, many agreed that the processing time might fluctuate based on weekly application volumes.

I am applied by the consulate not by the embassy. If i am right there is no embassy in Dublin only consulate. Depends on how many people applied that week when you send in yours. I got my visa 2 times already from them. First one got it within 1 week the second one a little bit more than a week time. I went to the office and handed over my stuff myself. Nice and friendly stuff working there i can recommend the consulate.

i know what you mean and i understand you. But i think if someone not familiar with visa things and got a car it is worth to take a day off and drive to them. I applied for a single entry 30 days visa based on marriage so in my case i had to show different docs than the others whos apply for a tourist visa for example. I dont know how fast they will get your docs what you sent with registered post but im pretty sure it wont take too long to get it back to you.

Luckily you have a car and could take a day off from work to drive 6 hours back and forth to Dublin. Unfortunately, I’m not that lucky.

yes thats the way if you not living close to them. Im living in NI but i did not mind driving down to Dublin and hand it over myself coz i can make sure i give all the right docs what they need
