Hi guys, I'm almost finished the online application to Jakarta from Bali. Please I have a question if anyone can advise:
My bank statement address is from UK as I lived in London for many years but my passport is Irish and my home address is listed as my Irish home address.
Will this create a problem?
I could easily change my home address to match the UK bank statement address but will they then question why my home address is UK but passport is Irish?
Would matching addresses be better or is having an Irish home address better?
Ugh I'm so confused thank you in advance for any advice which is betterπππ
Thank youπ€

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is applying for a visa and is confused about whether to use their UK address, which matches their bank statement, or their Irish address as stated in their passport. They express concerns about potential issues arising from mismatched addresses. Comments suggest using one address for consistency, with a preference for the UK address to avoid confusion, while also noting that a Thai bank account is acceptable.
Thanks guys, yes I'll put the UK address as"home" and add the Irish address as "permanent address".
I stupidly put my Bali hotel name as "home" originally ππI was confused and thought they meant where I am right now. But I thinki don't need to add the Bali hotel address right?
I uploaded that hotel booking seperatly as part of the proof of current location along with visa receipt, e-visa on arrival document, boarding pass, exit stamp from Thailand, and a selfie in front of the arrivals TV screen in Bali airport showing the dateππ hopefully they accept that as I didn't get a stamp in my passport on arrival π¨π€£π

Don't over think it. Even thai bank accounts are ok
The Thai embassy covers Ireland and UK, so I don't think it would cause a problem. Possibly better to use one address to avoid confusion (the UK one), and use the bank statement as proof of funds and proof of address
