Does the type of passport (PV vs. PJ) affect the DTV visa application for Myanmar passport holders?

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding the DTV visa application for Myanmar passport holders.

I am currently in Thailand on a Non-ED visa and working remotely for a foreign firm. I plan to switch to DTV (Workcation category) soon. However, my passport is expiring soon, and I need to renew it before applying.

The only way I can renew my passport in Bangkok is to change from a PV (Visit Passport) to a PJ (Job Passport) for some reason through an agent.

For any Myanmar nationals who have successfully applied for DTV, does the passport type (PJ) matter? Has anyone faced issues because of their passport type when applying for DTV?

Would appreciate any insights.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the DTV visa application process specifically for Myanmar passport holders, currently holding a Non-ED visa and planning to switch to a Workcation category. They expressed concern over needing to renew their passport type from PV to PJ through an agent in Bangkok and questioned if the passport type (PJ) affects the DTV application. Comments from other community members indicated that passport type does not significantly impact the application process for DTV, with experiences shared stating that many have obtained the visa regardless of the passport type.
