Hi there, I’ve been a member of this group for a while and I have some questions regarding applying for a DTV.

- I’m an Irish and New Zealand dual citizen and I will be home in Ireland for a few weeks. I’m planning to apply then for the DTV. Ireland doesn’t have a Thai embassy so I will need to apply in London, but is it necessary that I be present in England when I apply?

- in terms of proving that I’m in Ireland, is an exit stamp and flight booking to Ireland sufficient? I will be staying in my parents house

- lastly, I work for an American company that is a poker coaching company. I do software development for them and get paid an hourly wage ($100/h). I will make clear to them that I am not gambling while I am in Thailand, only doing this software development. Is this likely to result in a failed application? In terms of payment I have my invoices that I sent to them for the last 9 months and I can prove the income into my account (they have paid me both through PayPal and through my bank account)

In the Thai NON-IMMIGRANT VISA TYPE O-X website page states:

Applicants must hold passport and nationality of (1) Japan (2) Australia (3) Denmark (4) Finland (5) France (6) Germany (7) Italy (8) Netherlands (9) Norway (10) Sweden (11) Switzerland (12) United Kingdom (13) Canada (14) United States of America

But the Sydney embassy says that:

Eligible Applicants for O-X Visa

This category of visa is issued to the applicant who is an Australian national or a permanent resident currently residing in Australia whose age is 50 years or over and are currently residing in Australia.

I would like to know if New Zealand citizens can apply for the NON-IMMIGRANT VISA TYPE O-X?

Because NZ citizens who lives in Australian are considered Australians residents and I am New Zealand Citizen living in Australia.

What do you think I am eligible to apply for it?

Hello informative people. My daughter (NZ citizen) has been on holiday in Europe. She is leaving Amsterdam to come here to stay with me (I li e in Hat Yai). She has not applied for any visa as NZ is exempt. However she plans.to stay for about 80 days and has a flexi ticket to leave.

So what is the the best thing for her to do please, I have no idea and the website I don't fully understand. She does not have lots of money in her bank account either (of course not she is 22yrs old seeing the world)
