Can someone help with information on the steps of converting from a Marriage Extension (400,000B in the bank method) to a Retirement Extension (monthly income method). I have been trying to research this but have not had success.
I have been using the 800 000B deposit method for the last five years of visa renewal. I would now like to withdraw those funds after my recent renewal two weeks ago. I have for the last two years been running the monthly income method concurrently with this in mind. Am I safe to now withdraw those funds do you think and use the income method at next renewal. Many thanks in advance
I am currently on a non-O retirement visa. I started with the 800,000 in my Thai bank but have been making deposits of 65,000 or more every month without missing any month for a year now. My visa will need to be renewed in 90 days as I just did my 90 day reporting yesterday. Can I use the money in the bank and go below the 400,000 and switch to the required monthly deposits from my US bank when I apply for another year extension without an affidavit of proof of income? Hopefully I used the correct terminology.
I am an American in Thailand on an OA retirement visa that expires Jan 2, 2022. I opened my FCD and savings bank account in my name on Feb 1st 2021. I have transferred over 100,000 baht into my account every month beginning in Feb. I do not intend on leaving Thailand prior to Jan 2, 2022. Will I need 800,000 baht in the bank to extend for another year or can I use the monthly method albeit less than 12 months?
