I'm getting married here in a couple weeks. I have the notarized affidavit from my embassy and need to get it translated. The first place I checked said they were a "certified translator" and I guess that is a lower level qualification. What level of qualification is required. Also what's the going rate? I was quoted 1500 per page which seems steep. I have only one page (really only 1/2 page) and I'm thinking it would take no more than 30 minutes, so was a little surprised at the price.
Lastly can anyone recommend a translator?

ORIGINAL POSTERCan anyone recommend me a certified, or at least qualified, translator that can translate from Farsi to Thai in Bangkok or anywhere else in Thailand?
It's a letter that needs to be translated quite urgently since it may be needed in a visa related matter.
