Hey, I wanted to ask if anyone knows from experience what the actual difference is between the DTV Soft and Nomad visions.

I'm wondering when my course end i leave Thailand after my course end return after can they ask why I returned and if I have a course or a return ticket? And can I work online for clients from another country with the DTV Soft? I will be grateful for some information 😊

I am planning to apply for the DTV soft visa (thinking about applying in Indonesia), but I am facing a timing issue and would appreciate some advice.

I need to leave Thailand in mid September. One of the requirements is to show 500,000 THB in a bank account for 3 months. The account has only been funded since the end of August, so technically the 3-month period would run through August, September, and October.

My questions:

* Does it make sense to wait until early October and then apply, since it would be around 3 months, or is it a strict requirement that I need to complete the full 3 months?

* Should I try applying already in mid September, when I leave Thailand, for example in Indonesia or another embassy, or would that be a waste of time if the funds have not been in the account long enough?

* If I really need to wait, what would you recommend in the meantime? Should I just get another visa exempt entry? This would be my third this year, and I hold an EU passport.

Went into do my 90 day report I arrived in Thailand 16/02/25 I realise it is early which ok to do but they are telling me I don’t have report until 3/08 /25 I’m on a dtv soft visa I went back to query this and got told the same thing by a different officer has anybody else had this issue

Is the Dtv soft visa the same 5 years benefit like the regular dtv visa ? For the dtv soft visa. Do you have to do a activity for all 5 years ? Would having a lot of money in a american bank and getting sponsored by a thai company be enough? Or do you have to also have tax returns and proof of income from america??
