TLDR : Answer Summary
The recent announcement about Thailand lifting the pre-travel testing requirement for international arrivals has sparked a mix of reactions among travelers. While some view it as beneficial and a step towards normalcy, others express concerns over potential increases in COVID-19 cases, the need for quarantine, and the implications for traveler safety. Comments highlight skepticism regarding the effectiveness of this change, with many preferring to undergo testing before arrival to avoid quarantine after landing.

With many other Asian countries getting rid of tests ect on entry this just shows itโ€™s all about money! But surely this wonโ€™t last long as itโ€™s now worse than it was before with people on planes possibly having Covid! ๐Ÿ˜‚

This great news could send you to the hell of ISOLATION for 10 days with 40k to 60k thb bill.

Because no pre departure RTPCR test means plenty of covid case into the plane & upon arrival at sha+ hotel authority will catch one by one Covid + to send to ISOLATION.

Yes, I don't think that's a good thing either. Is to make more money. But I'm flying out on April 9th. And still do a pcr test beforehand. And I've been vaccinated 3 times now and have recovered for 1 week.
