TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers heading to Phuket are expressing concerns about COVID-19 protocols, including quarantine rules which arise from potential exposure during flights. Discussions reveal mixed feelings; some find the procedures inconvenient but manageable, while others argue against the restrictions in place. There is also clarification regarding who must quarantine if a plane passenger tests positive, indicating that not all passengers would be affected. The overall sentiment reflects frustration with the ongoing situation, especially from those who have traveled to Thailand frequently before the pandemic.
Planes have carefully constructed, adapted for COVID and functioning air circulation systems. Do Immigration offices? Of course not, how could they afford such. I think poiticians and Public Health authorities need a good walk in the sunshine. Consult scientific authorities, businessmen and women, talk to some families and singles managing (or not) through this - then make decisions based on common sense
One person on a plane test positive you all quarantine whats the point everything's closed ,ive been going for 20 years but wouldnt even think of going at this time
It took 3 hours to get through all of the hoopla and get the covid test other than the wait it really wasn't bad at all we had a full flight from Doha on Qatar.
sometimes you do what you need to do to see your children and grandchildren... Just thankful we are are able to do so... A whole lot better than Bangkok quarantine....
