that's long gone. nobody in the thai tourism industry is expecting a meaningful number of visitors in the next year or so. even if the government manages to triple the quarantine capacity by december (highly unlikely) that would still limit the number of arrivals to less than 1% of a pre-covid december.

yes i think by now everyone in the tourism industry has accepted the reality that +99% of the international tourism industry is not coming back for the foreseeable future. obviously, the government should focus on ramping up quarantine capacity as quickly as possible but whether we get 0% or 0.5% doesn't make much difference to most tourism businesses. they either need to adapt to the local market or close unfortunately.Maya *******

surgeon's doctors, nurses working in hospitals generally receive majority training from American, european and uk and u cant fault them,,, I would put the service above the NHS in some respects , and I have personal knowledge of that! Gp's get there qualifications from Family mart and no, she is only 7, she has the choice of to go school on a saturday or not, she's not forced, she actually enjoys it, and she learns english thai and chinese,,, the later not my choice but handy... but it took us a while to find a good school to do it... !Garrett ***********

If you've ever been to a hospital before you'd no no one except the doctors speak English, and thats because medical literature is written in English. Sammy *******

" I've been to cm ram, McCormick, and few others in Chiang mai and the main city hospital in Lampang, and always found sufficient numbers of nurses, registration staff, lab/x-ray staff that could speak very good English-- certainly, not all, but very sufficient numbers. you do a disservice to these medical professionals when you spread such stories.Reply to
