So you earned $2000 a month for the past 6 months and that was enough proof of funds? You didnโ€™t have a total of 500,000 baht/ $15k in your bank for proof?

Do you have to use a utility bill as proof of location or can you use a cell phone bill or bank statement for example?

The way you phrased this, you didn't really have $14,000 saved up but had collectively earned that in 6 months? Or am I misreading

Correct! Collectively earned 90% of it in 6 months in one account.

No contact for a financial blessing. I am a W-2 employee and also wanted to show the monthly passive income. I guess I could have submitted only the current month statements.

Got it. Thanks for the update. That's an amazing "relaxation" of the rule (when you consider people with brokerage accounts are being rejected at some embassies)

Thank you for your report.

Congratulations ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ on your DTV visa issued by the Thai Consulate in New York City.

Be sure to PRINT OUT several copies of the DTV visa. And present when asked to your airline and Thai Immigration Officers upon arrival into Thailand.
